Poltava region harvested 85% of sugar beet crop
In Poltava region "sweet harvest", compared to last year, continues ahead of the schedule. Currently, sugar beet are harvested from 85% of the total area.
It was announced by Deputy Director of the Department of AIC of Poltava Regional Administration, Oleg Paliy.
Five sugar companies of Poltava region: Yaresky, Lannivskyi, Globyno, Novoorzhytsky and Kobeliatsky Sugar Refineries — have joined the production of 1 million tonnes of sugar this year.
