«The main deliveries were made to Uzbekistan — 60% and Azerbaijan — 22%. Also, insignificant deliveries were made to Tajikistan (5%), Armenia and Moldova (by 3%)», — commented Ruslana Butylo, the head of the analytical department of «Ukrsugar» Association.

In total, 69,4 thousand tonnes of sugar were exported during the first two months of 2018/2019 MY.

According to data of «Ukrsugar» Association, sugar exports in the current marketing year will be about 500-600 thousand tonnes, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan will remain the main importers of Ukrainian sugar.

As of November 14, 1,2 million tonnes of sugar were produced and 9,2 million tonnes of sugar beet were processed. Nine sugar refineries have already completed sugar production.
