«Mriya» plans to double sugar beet grown area
«Mriya» agroholding plans to double the sugar beet harvested area by two times.
It was announced by the company's operating director? Andiy Grygorov, reports AgroPortal.
According to the sugar beet production plan for 2018, it is planned to harvest 334 thousand tonnes of beet.
«In 2018 the company plans to increase the sugar beet grown area by 104% or 7,2 thousand hectares. The forecast for 2017 harvest is 178,1 thousand tonnes of beet», — he said.
It should be noted that in MY 2015/16 «Mriya» did not produce sugar beet.
«Mriya» agroholding processes 180 thousand hectares in Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsk, Chernivtsy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions.
