MHP-Agro-C started sugar beet sowing
MHP-Agro-C started sugar beet sowing. The company sows sugar beets for the second year in a row. The sown area is left practically unchanged — 1045 ha.
It is reported on the company's Facebook page.
Planters equipped with Precision Planting are used for sowing. With this equipment, seeders provide the highest singulation of the culture.
«Our company is switching to no-till soil cultivation for the purpose of moisture and soil conservation. With this in mind, loosening was used on 60% of the areas for beet sowing, and plowing on 40%», — says Viktor Doroshenko, the company's chief agronomist.
Last year, sugar beets were sown in MHP-Agro-C for the first time, and 84,000 tonnes of sweet roots were grown on the area of one thousand hectares. Tha harvested crop was sold at Zgurivka sugar refinery.
