Mexico sugar production will increase by 572 kt — USDA
Mexico production is forecast 572,000 tonnes higher to 5.5 million due to favorable weather on lower area but on trend with recent sugarcane yields.
It is reported by USDA in its May report.
Consumption is expected to be down slightly with a small increase in stocks. Exports are forecast to rise on higher available supplies with exports to the United States set by the amended Suspension Agreements.
