Mexico sugar production is estimated 5% lower — USDA

According to the USDA forecast, in 2022/2023 Mexico sugar production is estimated 5% lower to 6,3 million tonnes.

It is reported by USDA in its November report.

Consumption and stocks are expected to be flat while exports are projected lower with the production decline. Exports are projected down due to lower production, reduced exports to markets outside the United States, and with exports to the United States limited by the level of U.S. Needs as defined in the amended Suspension Agreements
