According to Agriultural Department of Khmelnytsk Regional State Administration, the sugar beet area will amount within 20 thousand hectares.

Sugar production during the refining season is expected in the range of 120 thousand tonnes, with an average annual yield of 500 centners/ha and 12% sugar yield, which will fully meet the needs of the local population and enterprises, which reaches 90 thousand tonnes of sugar per year.
