Kharkiv region harvested more than 197,000 tonnes of sugar beets
As of October 22, more than 197,000 tonnes of sugar beets were harvested in Kharkiv region.
It is reported by Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Sugar beets were harvested from the area of 5,2 thousand hectares (92% in the region), a total of 197,3 thousand tonnes of sweet roots were harvested with the average yield of 372,7 centners/ha.
Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupyansk districts completed harvesting operations. The highest average yield of sugar beets — in Chuguiv district — 388,5 centners/ha.
