Sugar beet are harvested from ​​36,3 thousand hectares, or 96% of the plan. 2 million tonnes of beet are harvested with an average yield of 54 t/ha. The yield is 9 tonnes more than last year, Khmelnytsk State Administration reports.

Since the beginning of the production season, sugar refineries have produced almost 200 thousand tonnes of sugar. Recall that in Ukraine in general, 46 sugar refineries are engaged in the sugar beet processing, 12 of which have already completed the work. As of November 24, 1,57 million tonnes of sugar were produced (11,06 million tonnes of sugar beet were processed).
