«The positive dynamics of the installation of new renewable energy capacities shows the work of the legislative incentives developed by the government, the parliament, the State Department on Energy Efficiency and experts. So, over three years, more than 1,1 billion euros were invested in domestic «green» projects», — said Sergiy Savchuk, the head of the State Department on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving.

He believes that biogas and solar panels production plants can become the promising areas of investment. In addition, the resource like garbage has a significant untapped potential. In the processing of garbage and the subsequent energy production 1 billion cubic meters of gas can be substituted per year.
