Gnidava sugar refinery will continue to produce «eco» sugar
Gnidava sugar refinery will continue to produce environmentally friendly sugar. We are talking about the cooperation with «Ritter Bio Agro» LLC, which grows sugar beet without the use of any chemical additives.
It is reported by the press-service of the company.
Such cooperation began in 2017 and will be continued this year.
«They grow ecologically pure sugar beet, which we process. The enterprise received «eco» certificate, however, sugar is also significantly different from the usual product», — said Oleksandr Nikishyn, the deputy director for raw materials.
Germany, which relates well to the proper quality of the product, is the main consumer of such product. This year the aforementioned enterprise has increased the grown area under organic sugar beet from 50 to 300 hectares. «Ritter Bio Agro» is rely on its fields, fattened with organic rather than mineral fertilizers, they plan to receive at least 50 tonnes/ha, so Gnidava sugar refinery will have enough work.
