Gnidava Sugar Refinery plans to export beet pulp abroad
Gnidava Sugar Refinery will continue to modernize its production, reaching European standards. After the installation of beet pulp presses and deep spinning filters, the company plans to work on the concept of drying pulp.
It is reported by the press service of the company.
The company negotiate with Polish project organization, which is to prepare the relevant project. Today's reconstruction, which takes place at Gnidava sugar refinery, provides all possibilities for realization: delivering of pulp to the drying unit, the appropriate conveyors will be installed under the presses and the second line will be opened.
«The future drying unit will be located compactly next to other required equipment. All necessary communications are already carrying out there, because we are thinking about the future», — assured the deputy chairman of the investment board Glib Galkevych.
At the drying unit, pulp is dried up to 90% of dry matter, granulated, which is a stable product that can be exported abroad. For example, a well-known Pedigree dog food company uses dry granulated pulp in its production technology.
The company plans to move to such a level of the refinery operation as in Poland or Germany, when practically there will be no pulp on the refinery territory.
Such modernization, which is annually carried out at Gnidava Sugar Refinery, is part of a long-term plan approved to completely unload the filtration fields and their closure in the prospect.
