Gnidava Sugar Refinery increases eco-sugar production volumes
This year, Gnidava Sugar Refinery will continue ecological sugar production.
The press-service of the company reports about it.
Last year, «Ritter Bio Agro», an enterprise specializing in eco-beet production, has grown 2,000 tonnes of raw materials from which eco-friendly sugar has been produced, according to the leading German laboratories researches.
«The yield of environmentally friendly sugar beet is much lower, but the received sugar costs not 350 euros, but 1300 euros», — says Rostyslav Novosad, Director of Gnidava Sugar Refinery.
These will be the first deliveries of sugar beet for processing. The buyers of this product are the leading European manufacturers. This year «Riter Bio Agro» and one of the Dutch firms are going to conclude an agreement to supply 2 thousand tonnes of eco-sugar.
Today, «Riter Biogro Agro» has significantly increased its grown area and, according to the preliminary estimates, it plans to receive 40-50 thousand tonnes of sugar beet, which will be processed by Gnidava Sugar Refinery.
