Gnidava Sugar Refinery implements the ISO-22000 standard
Modernization of Gnidava sugar refinery is in full swing. The introduction of the ISO 22000 standard will be the next investment of the enterprise. It will become a mandatory state standard for all agro-enterprises in a short time.
It is announced by the deputy chairman of the company Glib Halkewych, the press service of the company reports.
The official is convinced that Ukraine has already reached the level when consumer demands a certain quality of the product, which is the appropriate hygiene and safety of the prodocued product. Thus, each investment should entail not only the installation of certain equipment, but also the infrastructure, logistics and other norms prescribed by European standards.
ISO 22000 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization related to food safety, which applies to all organizations in agribusiness.
