The head of «Flora AA» Farm Andriy Kapritsa (Vinnytsia region) told about it, AgroTimes reported.

Some areas of the farm are sown with winter wheat, then it is planed to sow sunflower and corn. The HORSCH Maestro CX drill, together with the task cards, are ready for use. However, the part of the area intended for sunflower sowing was set aside for sugar beet.

«We used to have a big question about sugar beets. However, due to recent events, wheat and corn, for example, currently can not be sold. But sugar — is sold very actively. Therefore, I decided that sugar is needed, first of all, and the planned area under sugar beets was twice increased — from 60 to 120 hectares or 10% of our total area. At the moment, I see prospects in this culture», — Andriy Kapritsa said.

The other day the farm performed pre-sowing tillage using the Farmet Kompaktomat K600 cultivator and started sugar beet sowing campaign.
