It is reported by FBC.
Fiji Sugar Corporation Chief operating officer, Navin Chandra says that this has produced over 40,000 tonnes of sugar.
Chandra says they are happy with how things have progressed between farmers and the mills: «We are seeing good supply of rail can as well and it’s very solid and we are seeing a lot of improvement on cane supply which credit goes to the growers that are making every effort for arranging lorries, cutters and co-operatives which is fantastic».
