The director of the enterprise, Serhiy Tsaryuk, noted this in a comment for AgroPortal: «We haven't sowed sugar beets for the last 5 years, but we introduced it in crop rotation, because no other crop will give the same profitability as sugar beet».

According to him, 100 hectares were set aside for sugar beet planting. If the profitability trend continues, the area is planned to be increased.

FE «Nyva» has already concluded a contract with Gaisyn sugar factory for the supply of grown products.

The refinery offered 74 kg of sugar in the balance weight from a tonn of sugar beets. Today, sugar costs about UAH 26,000/t. If we get 60-70 tonnes of beets from one hectare, we will have a good income.

Speaking about sowing preparations, the director of the enterprise noted that they manage with their own working capital. To date, they have purchased all the necessary material and technical resources for spring field work.
