In connection with last year's downtime, repair work at the factory began a little earlier. Some work started in February. Repairs are planned according to the developed schedule.

The sugar beet processing capacity of the factory amounts to 2.8 thousand tonnes per day.

This year, the Cygnet company planted more than 4,000 hectares of beets.

Weather conditions delayed the start of sowing campaign, but the chief agronomist of Zhytomyr branch of «Cygnet-Center» LLC Oleksandr Gaponyuk claims that after significant rainfall, weather conditions made it possible to go into the field and carry out the sowing: «During this sowing, there are certain risks, but they will not affect the yield of sugar beets. This season, we expect a beet yield of 55 tonnes/ha, which will result in 220,000 tonnes of sweet roots at the factory».

In 2021, the sugar factory processed 143,000 tonnes of sugar beets and produced 20,200 tonnes of sugar.
