According to report, before the beginning of the new sugar refining season Cygnet held the refinery modernization in which the company invested USD 2,7 million. In particular, three new vacuum machines VACY-50, three centrifuges Buckau-Wolf and press-mill Mercier TM-3000 were installed at the refinery.

Cygnet also reconstructed the thermal scheme of the refinery with the installation of an additional evaporator. In addition, it allowed to reduce gas consumption by 5 cubic meters per 1 tonn of sugar beet.
