Cherkasy region harvested more than 50% of sugar beets
As of November 1, more than 50% of sugar beets were harvested in Cherkasy region.
It is reported by press service of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.
According to Department of Agri-Industrial Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, the region continues sugar beet harvesting, the average yield of beets amounts to 449,4 centners/ha (in Ukraine — 471,0 centners/ha) 54% of the sown area have already been harvested.
