It is reported by Agricultural Department of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

Cherkasy region continues sugar beet harvesting. The beet crop is harvested from the area of 8 thousand hectares or 60% of the planned.

As it is reported, the average yield reaches 493 centners/ha (last year — 377 centners/ha), 380 thousand tonnes of beet roots were delivered for processing.
