It is reported by the Department of Agri-Industrial Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

Sugar beet harvesting has been completed in the region — 781.4 thousand tonnes.

The department notes that this year's result confirms the high efficiency of the region's agricultural sector and the significant contribution of Cherkasy region to the food security of Ukraine.
