Cherkasy region began sugar beet harvesting
As of the beginning of October, sugar beet harvesting began in Cherkasy region.
It is reported by UkrAgroConsult with reference to the data of Department of Agri-Industrial Development of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.
Sugar beets were harvested from the area of 1.2 thousand hectares or 7.7% of the plan, 60.2 thousand tonnes were obtained with the yield of 51 tonnes/ha.
