Brazil sugar cane crush will decrease by 4%
According to a survey carried out exclusively by NovaCana, the milling estimate for 2025/26 is 596.97 million tonens, a volume that represents a 4% drop compared to the previous harvest and the lowest since the 2022/23.
This estimate is the average of forecasts compiled by Novacana analysts along with 19 other companies and analysts.
However, considering the initial estimates for the next cycle, sugarcane fields should recover, with a 3.1% increase in crushing, to 615.24 million tonnes in 2026/27.
