The bioethanol refinery has not been operational since May. First, its owners suspended it themselves, and then Volyn District Administrative Court on the claim of environmentalists completely stopped the work of the company. However, after that, the odor did not disappear. Recently, «Biofuel-Energy Company» won an appellate court in Lviv, and since Tuesday, the refinery has started working again. The refinery will recycle molasses, by-product of sugar beet processing. Looking ahead, the boiler for biogas production will be built there.
