Such a result was received due to sugar production decline in the past season and a decline in average prices by 26% — to EUR 333 per one ton.

At the same time more than 113 thousand tonnes of sugar were exported.

Granular pulp sales increased by 88% — to 22 thousand tonnes due to increased corresponding capacities at sugar refineries.

The new sugar refining season continues at the company: its refineries have already produced 230 thousand tonnes of sugar.

Recall that during nine months of 2018 «Astarta» reduced its net profit by 80% compared to the same period of 2017.
