«Astarta» sugar sales increased by 14%

In the third quarter of 2017, «Astarta» agro-industrial holding increased sugar sales by 14% — to 109.9 thousand tonnes, compared with the same period of 2016.

It was announced by the company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

As it was reported, that in marketing year 2016/2017 (MY, September-August) «Astarta» refineries increased sugar production by 42% — up to 505 thousand tonnes, compared with MY 2015/2016. In 2016, the company exported a record volume of sugar — more than 186 thousand tonnes.

In 2016 the net profit of the holding increased by 5,2 times — to 83 million euros, compared with 2015, consolidated revenue increased by 17% — to 360 million euros.
