«Astarta» reduced sugar sales by 17%
In the first half of 2019, agri-industrial holding «Astarta-Kyiv» reduced sugar sales by 17% or 31,23 thousand tonnes.
It is reported on the website of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Sugar sales decreased from 184,58 thousand tonnes in the first half of 2018 to 153,35 thousand tonnes in the first half of 2019. It is noted that the average sugar sale price decreased by 9% — to 10 thousand UAH per one tonn.
«Astarta» combines 5 regional subdivisions: «Poltavazernoprodukt» LLC, «Dovzhenko Agrofirm» LLC, «Dobrobut» LLC (all — in Poltava region), «Khmelnytske» LLC (Vinnytsia region) and «Volochysk-Agro» (Khmelnytsk region).
Sugar production is the main activity of the holding, as well as grain and oilseeds cultivation and marketing, meat and milk production.
