«Astarta» purchased 5 irrigation machines of the Ukrainian manufacturer
The Ukrainian irrigation equipment manufacturer Variant Irrigation is completing the installation of 5 irrigation machines on the fields of «Poltavazernoproduct» enterprise, which is a part of «Astarta-Kyiv» agricultural holding.
It is reported on Facebook-page of Variant Irrigation.
In this way, the company plans to expand the irrigated areas almost twice.
«We were looking for a domestic quality product to implement the project. We monitored the market, studied the experience of other companies, visited field days. We chose Variant Irrigation because all our main requirements, possibilities and wishes were taken into account», — said Natalia Gomon, a general director of «Poltavazernoproduct».
Agroholding purchased 4 frontal machines and 1 circular machine in order to maximally cover the planned area with irrigation.
«We will grow hybrid corn, sugar beets and soybeans under irrigation as a crop for spatial isolation. We plan to get 100 tonnes of sugar beets and 3 tonnes of seed corn per hectare», — Nataliya Gomon added.
