In Poltava region, «Zorya» — production unit of «Astarta Prykhorollia» LLC — finished sugar beet harvesting, which began on October 21. 

«Droughts have complicated our field works. In general, the sugar beet yield reaches about 450 centners/ha — worse than expected, but sugar content amounts to about 20%», — emphasized Mykola Shatkovskyi, the leading engineer of «Zorya» PU.

This year, in «Zorya», the total sugar beet area amounted to ​​1,100 hectares. The technical complexes of the production unit are prepared well, so «Novoorzhytsky Sugar Refinery» LLC receives quality raw materials. 

By the way, «Astarta-Kyiv» began sugar beet harvesting in Shishaky district at «Dovzhenko» Agrofirm LLC and finished it in Khorol district at «Zorya» PU.

Crop rotation is observed in all production units of «Astarta-Kyiv». It is useful not only for the earth, but gives farmers confidence that there will be a high quality crop.
