The marketing director, Mykola Kovalsky, says, as «Agravery» reports.

«According to the plan, this season our production level will be equal to last year's (500 ths t)», — he said.

Kovalsky noted that in the southern and central regions of Ukraine there were unfavorable weather conditions for sugar beet growing, but if the weather is good in September and October, the culture will restore its sugar content.

At the moment only two refineries of the group are launched.

"Now it's better to make a pause (in sugar beet harvesting). This year we invested in harvesting technology, so we can intensify harvesting, do it more efficiently without losing any sugar», — added Kovalsky.
