All sugar factories have been launched In Vinnytsia region
Vinnytsia region harvested on 23,000 ha of sugar beets or 42% of the area. Serhiy Borzov, head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, reported about it on Facebook.
The average crop yield amounted to 454.4 centners/ha.
«More than 338,000 tonnes of sugar beets have already been processed and 51,000 tonnes of sugar have been produced. All 5 sugar factories are working», — he added.
He reminded that last year on this date, 2 sugar factories were in operation. Sugar production amounted to 3 thousand tonnes.
