This year, the total area under sugar beet reaches more than 3,5 thousand hectares.

«Agroproservice» uses mostly beet hybrids of KWS, BetaSyd and Florimon Depre.

«In general, the sowing campaign lasted from March 21 to April 1. Such early beet sowing was caused by a lack of soil moisture and a predicted dry spring», — says Andriy Baran, the General Director of «Agroprodservice».

More than 600 hectares were sown using Convizo smart technology, developed by «KWS-Ukraine» and Bayer Agrarian division. This is an innovative system for sugar beet cultivation, which consists of a working tandem — a special herbicide CONVISO1 and its resistant SMART of KWS selection.
