Kashperivka sugar refinery is one of the oldest refineries in Ukraine, as it was built in 1856. In 1880, the large expansion of the sugar refinery was carried out at the expense of the new machine equipment. Manual production was replaced by the machines.

In the 90’s of the XIX-th century, the refinery was sold to the Franco-Belgian joint stock company, which was called «Frank el-K».

The company employed the sugar refinery section that produced chopped refined products for export to Western Europe and South Asia in 1903. The capacity of the plant increased to 6,000 tonnes of sugar beet per day.

There was created a sugar beet growing enterprise in 1922 with a land bank of 3,000 ha. This enterprise became the property of the refinery in 1930 and Kasperivka Sugar Refinery was established.

The company carried out a major modernization of the refinery in 2015-2016, investing 15 million UAH.
