The sugar beet sowing campaign has been completed in Ukraine. According to «Ukrsugar», the sown area amounted to 162.1 thousand hectares — 18% less than last year and the lowest volume in the history of Independent Ukraine.
Vinnytsia region remains the leader in sowing areas, where 31.2 thousand hectares have been allocated for sweet roots this year.
