The enterprise is implementing one of the largest investment projects in Ukrainian sugar industry — the construction of a continuous vacuum crystallizer (CVC). The project’s feature is that it will be the first such device in Ukraine.
The vacuum crystallizer is a key piece of equipment in sugar production process. It is here that sugar syrup is converted into a mixture of sugar crystals and intercrystalline solution. Thanks to operation under vacuum, the syrup boils at a lower temperature, which allows to preserve the quality of the product and avoid its overheating.
Unlike traditional batch-type devices, the new installation will operate continuously: syrup will flow to the crystallizer constantly, and the finished product will be continuously removed from the device. This principle of operation ensures stability of the technological process, uniform growth of sugar crystals, and more efficient use of energy resources.
