According to the Secretariat of Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (SEMADESC) of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, ethanol production is expected to reach a state-record of 5 billion liters in 2025/26 MY.
In 2025/26 MY, which officially ends in March, the state’s sugarcane processing volumes are estimated at 52 mln t, while sugar production is estimated at 2.1 mln t.
