On February 26, with the support of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine, the Sugar World 2026 conference took place, bringing together key industry players to review the results of the past season, discuss technological solutions, and outline priorities for 2026.
Opening the conference program, the Chairwoman of Ukrtsukor, Yana Kavushevska, noted that despite the challenging global sugar market conditions observed over the past year, the Sugar World 2026 conference generated significant interest among Ukrainian farmers.
According to her, this once again confirms that “sugar beet remains an important, even strategic crop for the Ukrainian agricultural sector. The industry is going through difficult market cycles, but it is precisely during such periods that professional discussions and the exchange of experience become particularly important, as they help increase production efficiency and make the crop more profitable for farmers.”
In her presentation, the Chairwoman of Ukrtsukor introduced conference participants to the results of the 2025 production season and the plans for 2026.
More information about Sugar World 2026 and the speakers’ presentations is available on the conference’s Facebook page.
